Church Safety Classes

This class is designed to educate church volunteers of the Church safety team through the knowledge necessary to be prepared for the responsibility of protecting the Pastor and the congregation from threats of all levels that may arise.  In this class we also work closely with the local police department to set up a plan of response to the church. The training consists of checking the church property and minimizing any open opportunities for a threat to gain access to the church body. It also educates on some characteristics and actions that individuals display that will allow the safety team member to advise their finding to other safety members and the correct police department. We also put each member through the in-person concealed carry class to receive their permit to carry, as well as reinforcing the correct grip and learning when and when not to address a threat to the Church.
